Following is a compilation of bad experiences that I've made.

This could have been a bad product, a bad service.. or anything else that left me feeling ripped-off in some way.

I'm posting these incidents so you can use more caution when dealing with these products and vendors..

Sprint PCS Right-Plan Promise: LIES & SCAM!

II was delighted to see Sprint's new offer to change plans without any required contract renewal.
"We want you to be happy with your plan" they claim.."

Wow, that seemed like a step in the right direction. Needless to say, the fine print made plan changes
to Family plans, Power Plans, etc. subject to a 1-year or 2-year contract renewal!!!

I'm on a family plan, so first they offer me the Right-Plan promise and then they exclude it in the fine
print and deceive me into changing plans??

That's one pile of scam in my book!!!!

"Lord of War" DVD Purchase at Barnes & Noble Store in Clearwater, FL (23654 US 19 North, 727-669-1688 ):

I wanted the Lord of War DVD, but also needed a book. What a better way to combine the two, right? Think again...

I ended up walking out of the Clearwater,FL Barnes & Noble store with a $29 Widescreen Edition. The price looked a little hefty at first, but I thought it was some Special Edition version.

I still felt a little "ripped-off" after leaving the store and decided to stop by at another store down the road. Bingo, the exact same edition for $19.99 !!! That's a whopping $10-difference. The other store didn't even have a sale going, $19.99 was their REGULAR price. Go figure!

Good thing I hadn't opened the Barnes & Noble DVD yet, because I'm returning it first thing tomorrow morning.

Needles to say this is the last time I will ever buy anything but books at Barnes & Noble. And even then I'll doublecheck their prices with abebooks.com or amazon.com before buying it.

Come on, Barnes-and-Freaking-Noble... if I already feel ripped off the minute I leave your store something IS wrong!

Passport Pictures at Ritz-Camera #198 in Clearwater, Florida:

On 3/31/2006, I got some passpictures taken. I needed 6 of them and went to the local Ritz Camera store in Clearwater.

4 Passport Pictures were $14.95
and 2 additional copies were $12.00

So far so good. But on top of that they charged me a 1-Hour Processing Fee of $24.00!!!

This totalled up to almost $40 ... for 6 passport pictures!

I'm sorry guys, but that's a rip-off in my book... CVS gives you the same for $12. and there is no special quality for the Ritz pictures.

I emailed Ritz whether there was mistake on their part, but I never heard back from them.

Don't make my mistake.. go to CVS, Wal-Mart or somewhere else for passport pictures.

Windsong Airbed:

I've bought a Windsong Air Mattress a few years ago and after a few months of use, the mattress kept leaking and deflating.

I bought it at a Waterbeds'n'Stuff in Columbus, Ohio and they finally gave me the phone number for the manufacturer because they were sick of dealing with the issue. Since then Windsong Air Mattress has sent me a supposedly improved new version with better seams.

Well, they started leaking too and I got rid of the entired bed.

So, be careful when you buy a Windson Air Mattress.. I think I spent close to $1,000 for the mattress when it came out and had nothing but trouble.
